What is soapnut? Soapnuts grow on the Sapindus mukorossi (Saapnut) subtropical tree in South Asia, in the Himalayas. The soapnut has been used for washing for centuries and contains natural soap called sapanin. When saponin is dissolved in water it binds contaminants, grease and does not allow them to return to the textile fibers.
Ingredients: 5-15% anionic surfactants, <5% soap. Contains: perfumes (benzyl salicylate, linalool, hexyl cinnamal, butylphenyl methylpropional, hexyl salicylate, coumarin) preservative: Methylisotiazolinone, Methylchlorothiazolinone. Other ingredients: soapnut extract.
